You are never playing against a machine or a fictional, non-human result. All opponents in our game are based strictly on real, human scores from players of a similar skill level.

We always try our best to match you with a real, live player who is online and has a similar skill level to you. This is our primary goal for every match. If we cannot find a live player of comparable skill, our system will match you with a recorded game from a real player with a similar skill level at the time of their play. We refer to these as "Historical Playthroughs."

Whether you are matched with a live player or a Historical Playthrough, the match is always fair. Every player in a match, regardless of their nature, plays under identical conditions. This includes the exact same deal, the same game rules, and the same scoring principles. The outcome of the match is determined solely by your skill. If your score is higher than your opponent's score, you win the match. To protect player privacy, we do not use the original player's profile for Historical Playthroughs. Instead, we mask them with generated profiles, but the underlying performance is always a genuine, human score.
